Free Online PDF Tools

Free online PDF tools for application forms, scanned certificates and mark sheets. Merge up to 50 files into a single document in the order you choose, split a long scan down to the pages a form actually asks for, reduce the result to the 1MB or 2MB an upload box accepts, and convert pages to JPG when a portal will not take a PDF — without stamping a watermark across the page.

The four an application form usually demands: combining your documents into one, cutting a long scan down to the pages that were asked for, getting the result under the upload limit, and turning pages into JPG images when a portal will not take a PDF at all.

How to work with a PDF here

Four steps from a folder of scans to a single file the upload box accepts.

  1. Step 1: Open the PDF tool you need

Merge PDF combines several files into one; Split PDF cuts one file into pages or pulls out the ones you need; PDF Compressor makes an oversized file smaller; PDF to JPG turns pages into images. Everything runs in this browser tab — no account, no reader to install.

  2. Step 2: Add your documents

Drag in one PDF up to 100MB to split or compress, or up to 50 files totalling 200MB to merge. Scanned certificates, mark sheets and filled application forms all work.

  3. Step 3: Arrange, select or choose a level

Merging: drag the files into the order you want, first file first. Splitting: pick every page, a range, custom groups, or tap the exact pages you need. Compressing: Low protects print quality, Medium suits almost everything, High is tuned for portals that refuse anything over 1MB or 2MB.

  4. Step 4: Download the finished file

You see the page count or the size saved before you download — and a split hands back a ZIP as well as individual files. Everything is removed from our server automatically within 30 minutes.

Why use these PDF tools

Made for the moment a recruitment portal rejects your document for being a few hundred KB too big.

  • Tuned for upload limits

Government and university portals typically cap a PDF at 1MB or 2MB. The High setting exists specifically to clear those limits in one pass.

  • Big scans are fine

Upload documents up to 100MB with no page limit. A 300-page scanned file is handled the same way as a two-page certificate.

  • Your text stays text

Merging, splitting and compressing never flatten a page into a picture, so the document stays searchable, selectable and crisp. When you do want a picture, PDF to JPG makes one deliberately.

  • Free, and unbranded

No subscription, no per-file fee and no watermark or footer added to a document you may have to submit officially.

  • Handled and deleted

Documents are sent over an encrypted connection, the original is deleted the moment it is processed, and the result auto-deletes within 30 minutes.

  • Finish it on your phone

Pick a PDF straight from Google Drive, iCloud or your Downloads folder and compress it on Android or iOS — nothing to install.

PDF tools — frequently asked questions

What people ask before uploading an official document.

Which PDF tools are available on IndianJobsHub Tools?

Four, and they are designed to be used together. Merge PDF combines up to 50 files into one document in the order you choose. Split PDF does the opposite: it cuts one PDF into separate pages, keeps a page range, or extracts just the pages you pick. PDF Compressor reduces an existing PDF so it fits an upload limit. PDF to JPG converts pages into image files, for the many portals that accept only JPG for a scanned document. If you need to create a PDF rather than combine, cut, shrink or convert one, the Passport Photo Maker exports a print-ready sheet of passport photos as a PDF.

How do I take just a few pages out of a long scanned PDF?

Use Split PDF. Upload the scan, choose Page range to keep a continuous run such as pages 4 to 9, or Extract selected pages to pull out a scattered set — page 1, page 7 and page 12 — into one new document. A page grid shows which pages will end up in which file before you commit. This is the usual way to get one certificate out of a combined upload without rescanning anything.

Should I merge first or compress first?

Merge first, then compress. Combining the files and compressing the single result lets the compressor optimise the whole document at once, which gets you further under a 1MB or 2MB limit than shrinking each file separately and joining them afterwards.

How much smaller will my PDF get?

It depends almost entirely on what is inside the file. A scanned document — where every page is really a photograph — usually drops by 50 to 80 percent, because the images inside it can be re-encoded. A PDF that is only text is already compressed and may barely change. When a file is already optimised we tell you so and hand back the original rather than degrading it for a fraction of a percent.

Can I still select and search the text after compressing?

Yes. Pages are never rasterised into flat pictures, so text stays as real text: still selectable, still searchable, and still sharp if the document is printed or verified at a counter. Only the images embedded in the file are re-encoded.

Is it safe to upload certificates and mark sheets?

Files are sent over an encrypted connection and processed on the server, and the original upload is deleted immediately afterwards. The compressed copy is kept only long enough for you to download it and is deleted automatically within 30 minutes. No account is required, nothing is indexed and nobody reads your documents.

My PDF is still too large — what else can I do?

First try the High compression level if you used Low or Medium. If it is still too big, the pages themselves are probably scanned at a very high resolution: rescan at 200 dpi rather than 600, or photograph the document instead of scanning it, then compress again. Splitting a long document and uploading only the pages the form asks for also helps.

Can I compress a PDF from my phone?

Yes. The tools are fully responsive and work in any modern mobile browser on Android and iOS, including picking a file from Google Drive, iCloud Drive, WhatsApp downloads or your Files app. There is nothing to install and no difference in features from the desktop version.
