You can merge up to 50 PDF files in one go, with a combined size of up to 200MB. There is no page limit — a 300-page scanned document counts the same as a two-page certificate. If you have more than 50 files, merge them in batches and then merge the results together.

Yes. The list on screen is the document you will get: the file at the top becomes page 1, the next file follows it, and so on. After merging, the result card shows exactly which file became which page numbers so you can check before downloading. The order inside each file is never changed either.

Yes. Every file in the list has up and down arrow buttons, which work by tap on any phone or tablet. Dragging a row also works with a mouse on a desktop. Both do the same thing, so you can use whichever suits the device you are on.

No. Merging copies your pages across exactly as they are — nothing is re-compressed, re-encoded or rasterised. Text remains real text that can still be selected and searched, and images keep the resolution they had. The merged file is usually a fraction smaller than the sum of its parts, because one set of document structure replaces several.

Yes. Files are sent over an encrypted connection, merged on the server, and the uploads are deleted the moment the merge finishes. The merged copy is kept only long enough for you to download it and is deleted automatically within 30 minutes. Nobody reads, stores or shares your documents, and no account is required.

No. An encrypted PDF cannot be read without its password, so its pages cannot be copied into a new document. Open the file in your PDF reader, remove the password (usually under Protect or Security settings), save a copy, and add that copy to the list instead. We check for this as soon as you add a file and tell you which one is protected.

Page content, images, fonts and page-level annotations such as links are carried over. Document-level extras — bookmarks or outlines, interactive form fields and named destinations — are not, because with several source files there is no single correct way to combine them. If you need a fillable form to stay fillable, keep it as a separate file rather than merging it.

Merge first, then compress.
