Government Exam Signature Resizer

Upload your signature, crop it, then resize and compress it to the exact size SSC, UPSC, Railway, IBPS, Bank, Police and State PSC forms require. Pick a white or transparent background, use a common preset like 10 KB–20 KB, 20 KB–50 KB, 140×60 px or 300×80 px, or enter a custom size.

How to resize a signature for a government form

Four steps, no account, nothing to install.

  1. Step 1: Upload your signature

Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen, then photograph or scan it. Drop the JPG or PNG here — anything up to 20MB, straight from your phone gallery if you like.

  2. Step 2: Crop tight to the ink

Drag any rectangle over the image — there is no locked aspect ratio — so the white margins around your signature disappear and only the writing is left.

  3. Step 3: Pick the size your form wants

Tap a preset — 10 KB–20 KB, 20 KB–50 KB, 140 × 60 px or 300 × 80 px — or type your own width, height and KB limit. Choose a white or transparent background.

  4. Step 4: Check and download

Indian Jobs Hub checks the finished file against the preset — dimensions, file size and background — so you can see it will be accepted before you download it.

Why use this signature resizer

Built by Indian Jobs Hub for applicants filling the same form our passport photo maker serves — where the signature is the upload that gets rejected last.

  • Presets that match the notification

The 10 KB–20 KB, 20 KB–50 KB, 140 × 60 px and 300 × 80 px presets are the sizes SSC, UPSC, Railway, IBPS, Bank and State PSC forms actually print — no guessing at a quality slider.

  • Free-form crop

A signature has no fixed shape, so you drag any rectangle you like instead of fighting a square crop window. Wide, narrow or tall all work.

  • White or transparent background

Keep the plain white most portals require, or export a transparent PNG when the signature has to sit on a letterhead or an application form.

  • Checked before you download

A validation panel compares the output against the preset you chose and flags anything outside it, so a form is far less likely to reject the upload.

  • Your signature stays private

It travels over an encrypted connection and is deleted from the server as soon as it has been processed. Nothing is stored, shared or reused.

  • Free, with no watermark

No subscription, no per-file charge and no logo stamped across your signature — resize as many times as you need to get it right.

Frequently asked questions

Everything people ask before uploading their signature.

How do I resize my signature for an online exam form?

Upload a photo or scan of your signature above, crop tight to the writing, then tap the preset that matches your form — for example 10 KB–20 KB or 300 × 80 px — and download the result. The Indian Jobs Hub signature resizer sets the pixel dimensions and the file size together, so the download is already within the limits the portal accepts. It is free and needs no sign-up.

What signature size do SSC, UPSC, Railway and IBPS forms ask for?

Most Indian recruitment portals ask for a signature scanned or photographed on plain white paper, saved as a JPEG of roughly 140 × 60 to 300 × 80 pixels and between 10 KB and 50 KB. SSC and IBPS commonly specify 10 KB–20 KB, while several state boards allow up to 50 KB. Requirements do vary, so confirm the numbers printed in the official notification and then enter them here.

Can I use a phone photo instead of a scanner?

Yes. Sign on plain white paper with a dark blue or black pen, photograph it straight on in good natural light without a shadow across the page, then crop tight to the signature here. A phone photo cropped and resized this way works for every portal that accepts an uploaded signature — no scanner needed.

How do I get a signature with a transparent background?

Choose Transparent in the background picker. The output format switches to PNG automatically, because JPG cannot store transparency. Use this when the signature has to sit on top of a letterhead or a filled form; if the portal simply asks for a signature image, plain white is the safer choice.

Which file formats can I upload and download?

JPG (JPEG) and PNG files up to 20MB are accepted, and you can download in either format. That means you can upload a PNG scan and download the JPG most government portals require, or go the other way when you need transparency.

Will resizing make my signature blurry?

Signatures are line art on a plain background, which compresses very well, so a 10 KB to 20 KB file at 140 × 60 or 300 × 80 pixels still looks clean. Blur usually comes from the source rather than the tool — a shaky or poorly lit photo cannot be sharpened by resizing. Crop tight to the ink first, and start from the sharpest picture you have.

Is my signature safe to upload here?

Yes. Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, processed on the server, and the upload is deleted immediately afterwards. No account is required, nobody views or stores your signature, and it is never used for training or advertising.

Does the signature resizer work on a mobile phone?

Yes. The tool is fully responsive and works in any modern Android or iOS browser, including picking the photo straight from your gallery. There is nothing to install and no difference in features between mobile and desktop.
